We have a wide range of weights at Kilkenny Active, with our free range weights ranging from 2kg – 50kg.

There is a dedicated free weights area within the gym which is fully equipped with dumbbells, barbells, squat racks, benches and resistance machines. We cater for all abilities. Whether your aim is sports specific training, weight loss or improving your strength, you will find what you need in our weights Zone

At the heart of the fitness club is the gym floor, designed with your needs in mind – It’s spacious, air conditioned and filled with state of the art Technogym equipment. There are complimentary water fountains to keep you hydrated.

Whatever your fitness goal,  we can help you achieve it. We will develop a bespoke fitness plan for you when you sign up, and are on hand to help you every step of the way.

At Kilkenny Active, our goal is to offer the highest quality swimming experience to those of all ages and abilities.

We use the WAPOTEC® water purification system in our 20m swimming pool. This is an internationally certified water cleaning system – it delivers a better water quality than using just chlorine alone – The Wapotec System uses 40% less chlorine in total, however is 240 times more effective at killing germs, providing a cleaner pool less reliant on harsh chemicals.

What does this means for our members? The water in our pool is cleaner, clearer and more gentle on your skin, compared with any other swimming pool in Kilkenny. The pool does not suffer from that strong ‘Chlorine’ smell so common in other pools.

We offer a kids pool to the side of our swimming pool, meaning that our main pool has the same depth throughout enhancing the adult swimmers experience.
