Our team at Kilkenny Active tailor make your fitness programmes to ensure you get the most out of every workout by using all the gym equipment correctly. We will tailor make the fitness programme for your individual fitness needs and requirements.

 

At Kilkenny Active, our gym equipment is extremely important to us, this is why we have partnered up with Technogym as they are the leading supplier of fitness equipment in the world!

 

Our Technogym equipment comprises of cardio vascular equipment and functional resistance machines.

 

The cardio vascular equipment; treadmills, upright bikes, recline bikes, cross trainers, concept 2 rowing machines, skierg, steppers.

 

The resistance machines; shoulder press, chest press, last pull down, leg extension, leg curl, leg press.

 

We are always looking out for the upcoming gym equipment and we found it in the Watt-bike Atom. It is the most realistic, intelligent and effective smart trainer on Earth.

 

In Kilkenny Active we also have an 8m rig which has 2 inbuilt squat racks, monkey bars, TRX, high jumps and an anchor attached.

 

In the weights zone we have an extensive range of dumbbells ranging from 2kg – 50kg, kettlebells, slam balls, medicine balls, TRX and battle ropes.

 

Our members love the fitness studio, this is an area where you can work on your own programme that we have tailored made for you. The fitness studio is a space where you can practise and develop functional movements in a safe environment. Our fitness classes also take place in the studio.

 

In Kilkenny Active we love spin class and we have top class spin bikes, body bike connect. All of the bikes have a monitor which will track your information regarding your blood pressure, heart rate, effort level, speed, distance and calories burned. All of this information can be synced up to your iPhone.

 

Swim and Relaxation Zone at Kilkenny Active

 

Members can enjoy our 20m swimming pool at Kilkenny Active. Our swimming pool can be used for casual and experienced swimmers. A swim lane is available for length swimmers.

 

We use the WAPOTEC® water purification system in our swimming pool. This is an internationally certified water cleaning system – it delivers a better water quality than using just chlorine alone.  The Wapotec System uses 40% less chlorine in total, however is 240 times more effective at killing germs, providing a cleaner pool less reliant on harsh chemicals.

 

Our recently refurbished steam room provides a space to relax and unwind in an extremely warm environment. It helps to open up the airways which improves your breathing and alleviates congestion.

 

The sauna increases the heartbeat and improves circulation. The sauna is great for post workout muscle relaxation and will help with overall detoxification of the body  —  feel good and rejuvenated

 

The jacuzzi can help relax tense muscles and relieve anxiety and stress after a hard day. The heat will energise your body and mind.
